Working with multiple tabs is now easier than ever - we added scroll buttons to navigate through tabs when many are open, as well as a new tabs menu to easily switch context.
The tabs menu appears when there are multiple open tabs in a space, featuring tab search, re-ordering (by dragging) and fast closing of tabs as well as changing the current tab. It can either be accessed via the mouse or its global shortcut: ⌘/Ctrl + ⇧ + ↑.
Useful tip: While the tabs menu is fully controllable using a mouse or trackpad, it is designed as a fully keyboard-first compatible component, so accessing it using the shortcut automatically focuses the menu, which allows for very fast context switching between tabs only using the keyboard (arrow keys for navigating + enter to switch to a tab).
🐛 Fixes
Fixed an issue when importing into the daily note where the entry was deleted.
Fixed layout shifts on mobile devices when opening popups to improve visual stability.
While adding a property to an object type, when the name of the property is not empty, pressing enter will now create the property instead of just closing the menu.
Pressing enter from the title of an object will now creates a new line above the objects existing content (or jumps to the first one when there is no content yet).
Fixed misalignment of MacOS traffic light buttons with the top bar.
Fixed multiple minor UI bugs around the side and top bar.
There were problems opening file:// links, especially on Windows. This has now been fixed.
We’ve addressed an issue with the sorting functionality in menus (e.g. the label menu).
