In Capacities, you can open multiple notes simultaneously in basically two different ways:

1. Use the side panel: Hold shift-click to open content alongside your main note.
2. Open new tabs: Hold cmd-click (Mac) or ctrl-click (Windows) to open notes in new tabs.

Add a date property to your custom object types.

You do not need to create a table of contents manually. If you use headings, an automatic one is created for you and available in the right sidebar!

Plans can be cancelled on desktop immediately at any point and no additional charges will be applied. After you cancel, you can continue to use your plan until the end of your current billing cycle.

To cancel your plan open the app and go to Settings > Subscription & Billing.

The easiest solution is to delete any spaces with content in.

First, create the new empty space that you would like to use going forward.

Second, open the space you would like to delete. Open its settings, go to 'Space Settings' and click delete. You will be taken back to the homepage, where you can continue to delete any other old, unwanted spaces, or you can just start using your new space.

To turn text or blocks into a new object in Capacities:

1. Select the block(s) you want to convert
2. Click "Turn into" and choose the desired object type
3. The selected text becomes the title of the new object
4. Any indented child blocks are added as content in the new object

This allows you to quickly create new objects like Zettels, projects, tasks, etc. directly from your notes. The original text is replaced with a link to the newly created object.

While you can upload, view, link and embed PDFs in Capacities, the PDF object type itself cannot be customized with additional properties. If you want to add metadata to a PDF like author, year, etc., a good approach is to create a separate object type like "Sources". You can define any custom properties you need there. Then simply embed or link the relevant PDF into your Sources object. This has the added benefit of allowing you to collect various media related to a source in one place - PDFs, websites, images and more.

While you can upload, view, link and embed PDFs in Capacities, the PDF object type itself cannot be customized with additional properties. You can delete your account at any point. To do so open the app on a desktop device and go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. Please note that this action cannot be undone as all your data will be removed from our servers.

There are two options.

When creating a subscription there’s an “Add VAT” button in the checkout.

Or if you have already paid the full amount including VAT, check your email confirmation, then open the "View Receipt" link within it. In this webpage, click the "enter VAT number" link. Enter your VAT ID and your country code in the provided fields. You will then receive a refund confirmation email.

You can change your payment method at any point from the settings. Go to Settings > Subscription & Billing and click on "Change payment method".

You will be downgraded to Capacities Basics. You will not lose any content that you created while you used Capacities with a different plan, you just don't have access to certain features anymore. What that means:

• Queries will not be deleted but you will not be able to see the results until you have resubscribed to a paid plan.
• Block-based references will not disappear so you can continue to use your existing ones, but you will not be able to create new ones.
• Formulas in tables will not disappear, but they will not update or be editable.
• AI chats will still exist, but you will not be able to create new ones or edit existing ones.
• Your task action integrations will no longer work.
